In March 2005 Google purchased Urchin Software Corp. In November 2005 Google released Google Analytics as a free offering to web companies to help them gauge the effectiveness of online marketing and analyze patterns of browsing and shopping on their sites.

This integration module for ShopSite Pro stores provides the required JavaScript variables in the correct JavaScript format to capture order information from your ShopSite orders in your E-Commerce Website's profile in Google Analytics.

Requirements:

  • A Google Analytics account and your website's profile there configured as an E-Commerce Website
  • ShopSite Pro v7.0 or newer
  • Perl v5 or greater
  • If you are capturing orders securely, you will need your own secure SSL domain name (i.e. not one shared with you by your host)
